Five years ago today, I took a giant leap of faith by officially forming Stacie King & Company, LLC.
Although I had contracted as a side gig for years, I’d always had the safety of a salary to fall back on. I decided I was ready to see what I could do on my own.
So in April 2018, I did what most business owners have done…
-I invested some money
-I got the business license
-I bought the business and cyber insurance
-I bought lots of software
and then I dove in head-first!!!
Have I failed at stuff at times? 𝗔𝗕𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗬! I’ve learned a lot from those experiences. I’ve also had some big wins too.
Has it been easy? Not at all. However, I tell people I have the best job in the world!!
Every week, I get to meet some of the most amazing people. And for some of them, I get to help them share their incredible stories.
Working with these brilliant, talented, and inspiring individuals, I genuinely learn something new 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 day! And isn’t that the best?
No day is the same, and I continue to grow week by week, month by month, and year by year.
Five years isn’t a big deal for some of you, but it means the world to me. And for all of you who have helped me get here, I truly THANK YOU!
